PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of system by allowing a host computer to issue a transmission start command to other center station placed in a different area if the transmission of a broadcast mode of a center station is interrupted due to any cause. CONSTITUTION:If the transmission of broadcast mode from a center station C1 to a peripheral station is interrupted due to any cause, the central station C1 sending a signal detects it and informs it to a satellite network control host computer A. Then the host computer A issuing a transmission stop command to the center station C1 making so far transmission and issues a transmission start command to other center station C2 installed other area than that of the center station C1 to replace the center stations C1, C2. Thus, disabled communication over a long time for the entire satellite communication system is evaded, and the system is operated to ensure stable communication thereby improving the reliability of system. |
