发明名称 METHOD FOR REDUCING ASTRINGENCY AND BITTERNESS OF TANNIC ACID
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce astringency and bitterness peculiar to tannic acid and enable intraoral administration, by adding an organic acid or salt thereof to tannic acid. CONSTITUTION:An organic acid or salt thereof (e.g., nitric acid, tartaric acid or succinic acid or metallic salts thereof) in an amount of >=2 times, preferably 5 times based on the weight of the tannic acid thereto. The tannic acid is obtained by extracting treatment of Japanese gall or gall and useful as a medicine, such as local astringent agent, hemostatic agent, antiallergic agent or antiviral agent. A carrier, excipient, extender, flavoring agent, binder, etc., are added to the tannic acid with reduced astringency and bitterness and prepared in the from of tablet, powder, granule, syrup, oral agent, etc.
