PURPOSE:To improve insulation strength, by arranging an insulating spacer at a saddle section having inside and outside led out directly from a liquid nitrogen section and the liquid nitrogen section of the double tank at vacuum section, and arranging a bushing at the outside. CONSTITUTION:A tank 5 filled with liquid nitrogen A has saddle sections 12a, 12b penetrating air-tightly through a vacuum tank 6 (vacuum section B) at the outside. Insulating spacers 9a, 9b are arranged at the flange sections 13a, 13b at the end section of the saddle sections 12a, 12b in order to maintain air-tightness of the tank 5. Conductors 11a, 11b are arranged air-tightly in the central section of the spacers 9a, 9b, while a superconducting current limiting element 4 is supported in the tank 5 end communicated electrically with the outside. Furthermore, bushings 10a, 10b are fixed through the spacers 9a, 9b with the flange sections 13a, 13b. The bushings 10a, 10b are filled with insulating gas C such as SF6. |
