PURPOSE:To facilitate the call-operation of a pocket bell by inputting character information to be displayed on a pocket bell and displaying the content of the information and converting the character information into code information that can be identified by a communication facility and transmitting this information to the facility in form of a PB signal. CONSTITUTION:An informing message which is character information to be displayed on a pocket bell is inputted to a facsimile equipment, and the information is displayed thereon. A network controller 4 allows a communication facility on the base station side that calls the pocket bell to be originated, then receives a response signal transmitted from said facility, then encodes character information to be transmitted by one and one character at a timing accordant to the response signal, and transmits it with a prescribed PB signal to the communication facility. The controller 4 also outputs a report of communication result by a plotter 2. As a result, an operator can input informing message while confirming the content to be displayed, hence errors in operation can be decreased. |
