PURPOSE:To prevent conditioned air in a spot space from releasing to the outside of the space, by a method wherein the blow-off port of an air curtain is formed so as to be double and air for a space except the spot space is blown off through an outside blow-off port while air for the inside of the spot space is blown off through the inside blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:An air curtain blow-off port 16, consisting of an inside blow-off port 6 and an outside blow-off port 8, is provided with a flow regulator 14, made by aluminum honey comb and the like and regulating the flow of air so as to obtain vertical flow, at the tip end thereof, whereby the flow of blow- off air is regulated so as to obtain vertical laminar flow. Further, a resistance body 15 consisting of superposed several sheets of net plates, made by metal or plastic sheet having different width or length, is provided below the flow regulator 14 while air for air curtain is blown out through the resistance body 15. When the blow-off port 3 and the suction port 4 of an air conditioner 2 are provided in the air curtain, conditioned air will never be released to the outside, therefore, the conditioned air prevails to every corners in the air curtain. The conditioned air is retrieved through the suction port 4 of the air conditioner, therefore, the efficiency of the air conditioning may be improved remarkably. |
