<p>PURPOSE:To improve cleaning and sterilization performance at a treating area by ejecting cooling water through a chip to an affected part and subjecting the affected part to cavity collapsing function through supersonic wave having amplitude corresponding to the symptons. CONSTITUTION:A chip 1 has a path for pressure feeding cooling water from the end of the base section 2 to the intermediate section, and a hole 5 for ejecting cooling water is made at the end of the path 7. The section closer to the tip of the chip 1 than the hole 5 is bent 13 or 14 with such angle as allowing tight contact with the face of the root 8 of the tooth, and the inside at the tip thereof is cut to form a sharp edge. The end of the base section 2 of the chip 1 is jointed to the tip of a hand piece incorporating an electronic converter for converting high frequency current into supersonic wave, then the tip of the chip 1 is inserted deeply into a gum groove 10 or a circumferential pocket 11 having circumferential tooth tissue affected by marginal periodontitis and supersonic vibration having amplitude corresponding to symptons is applied thereon thus moving them slight up and down with cooling water being ejected.</p> |
