<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to make a device simple in structure, and small in size at low cost by fixing a bevel gear onto the input shaft of a rear wheel steering device interlocked with a front wheel steering device, and thereby constituting the rotation of the gear to be transformed into the lateral movement of a rear wheel steering member via a ring gear having an inclined axial line. CONSTITUTION:The rear wheel steering device 10 including an input shaft 20 interlocked with a front wheel steering device includes a rear wheel steering rod 21 extending laterally, and the lateral movement of the steering rod 21 allows rear wheels to be steered via tie rods 25. A boss 21a projected at a right angle is provided at the midway of the rear wheel steering rod 21 wherein a control rod 35 is slidably fitted into a hole formed onto the boss 21a via a bush 34. A spherical section 35a is formed at the tip end section of the control rod 35 so as to be engaged with the connecting section 31 of a ring gear 29 which is supported rotatably around an inclined axial line in a housing 22. And the ring gear 29 is meshed with a bevel gear 28 fixed on the input shaft 20.</p> |
