摘要 PURPOSE:To enable composition proportions of lead dioxide and lead sulfide to be controlled easily, by bringing reactive mother liquor comprising a lead containing compound and persulfuric acid ions into contact with a dielectric oxide coat layer so that a semiconductor layer is formed by an electrochemical treatment. CONSTITUTION:A reactive mother liquor containing a lead-containing compound and persulfuric acid is brought into contact with a dielectric oxide coat layer so that a semiconductor layer is produced by an electrochemical treatment. Namely, the semiconductor layer consisting of lead dioxide and lead sulfide and formed on the dielectric oxide coat layer provided on the surface of an anode base of a valve action metal is formed by a method in which the reactive mother liquor comprising a lead- containing compound and persulfuric acid ions is brought into contact with the dielectric oxide coat layer so that the lead dioxide and the lead sulfide are produced by chemical reaction while, simultaneously, the electrochemical treatment is performed to produce the lead dioxide. Accordingly, proportions of composition of the lead dioxide and the lead sulfide in the semiconductor layer can be varied quantitatively because the amount of the lead dioxide is controlled by easily-variable factor such as voltage or current in electrochemical treatment. Such manufacturing process is suitable for industrial mass production of solid electrolytic capacitors.
