The warm air moisture extractor, e.g. for a domestic or industrial combined washing and drying machine, consists of a cooling exchanger (1) to receive the warm moist air, linked in series with a reheater-exchanger (2), a water duct (E) and a tank (3) with a water outlet. The method applied by the extractor consists of cooling the warm moist air in exchanger to a temperature of around 20 deg.C and then reheating the cooled air in exchanger to a temperature of 40 deg.C, at the same time evacuating the condensed mositure. The warm moist air is cooled with the aid of cold water, which is then used for tap water, preferably after being used for heating the cooled air. ADVANTAGE - Reduced energy losses and dispersal of moist air.
