An indicator panel, especially for showing the price of an article for sale, consists of a flat rectangular housing (1) with a window in one side which displays data, e.g. numerals, carries on endless belts (2, 3, 4) of a flexible material inside the housing. Each of the belts is in a continuous loop which is passed round four or more rollers (5 - 8) so that one end of the loop is doubled on the inside. Where two of the loop's rollers are located close to one another, the band makes contact with a friction drive roller (9,9', 10), actuated e.g. by a control knob (14) outside the housing which is equipped with spindle (12) and a square drive tip (13) to turn the friction rollers individually. The endless belts can be fitted in a variety of configurations. ADVANTAGE - Design and operating simplicity.
