<p>PURPOSE:To permit an easy and accurate sealing, by filling a container with a food, wherein the container has a plastic laminated aluminum foil on one side thereof, placing a lid for sealing purpose on the opening portion of the container and high frequency heating the aluminum foil under vacuum to thereby fusion-bonding the joint faces of the container and the lid with the plastic. CONSTITUTION:A resin can for retort food vessel using a fusion-bonding plastic laminated aluminum foil at one side thereof and having a joint portion and an opening portion is filled with the food and covered with a lid. This can container is carried from an entrance passage 6 into a vacuum chamber 3 through a feed turret 16 and a valve turret 8 and, by a feed turret 10, further carried to a lift means which presses the lid against the container. In doing so, the container is passed under a primary coil 4 together with a secondary coil 5, whereby the joint faces of the container and the lid is fusion-bonded with the plastic by heating the aluminum foil with a high frequency generated by the primary coil 4. This sealing method permits the container to be vacuum sealed easily and accurately.</p> |
