PURPOSE:To obtain a drain pan made of oilproof polystyrene foam without the generation of crack, by forming a coating material's film with a specified thickness on the surface of polystyrene foam where said coating material mainly comprises the copolymer of styrenes-acrylate. CONSTITUTION:The surface 1a of a drain pan body 1 is coated with a water- emulsified coating material 2 which comprises a copolymer where styrenes is mixed with acrylic ester (butyl acrylate and octyl acrylate) at the rate of one:two with traces of dispersion agent and curing agent with a hand roller or a brush and dried to such an extent that its solid portion may comprise about 40%, thereby forming a film 3, which produces an oilproof polystyrene- made drain pan 4 on the whole. In this manner, the formation of a film on the surface of a polystyrene foam-made drain pan body coated with a coating material which mainly comprises a copolymer of styrene-acrylate improves an oilproof capacity and prevents the generation of crack against the expansion of the mother material of polystyrene or impact from the outside. |
