PURPOSE:To repeatedly connect and separate a connector-B with a connector-A while leaving the connector-B in liquid by making the connector-B a closing type by vertical movement of a plug and opening and closing the plug in a gas apace above liquid surface in a protecting tube of the connector-A. CONSTITUTION:In order to connect an connector-A with a connector-B, at first an operation shaft 2 is relatively pulled up to a protecting tube 1 by a driving mechanism so that an outer claw 4 is outwardly opened by the part 7 of a shoulder. After a gas pressure thereof is higher than the pressure of liquid sodium is applied in the protecting tube 1 to form a gas space, the protecting tube 1 and the operation shaft 2 are descended while the lower end part 15 of an inner cylinder is descended down to the upper part of a plug 19. When, in this condition, dry gas is blown into from a gas through hole 10 and only the operation shaft 2 is descended, the lower end part 15 resists against a plug press spring 21 and the plug 19 is pushed down. A contact plate 22 of connectors widened by the plug 19 is inwardly bent, comes in contact with the contact plate 14 of the connector-A and measuring wires 11, 23 of the connector-A are electrically connected. At this time, the lower end of a housing tube 16 is brought in contact with the upper surface of a housing 18 by energization force of a press spring 17 and a seal is formed. |
