PURPOSE:To improve the straight advance stability by dividing a wheel supporting member into two parts and joining each divided body in swing- shiftable ways in the longitudinal direction and setting the connection part for one divided body of an upper suspension arm so as to be shiftable rearward. CONSTITUTION:A knuckle 1 as wheel supporting member is divided into the upper and lower knuckles 1A and 1B. While, the outer edge parts in the vehicle width direction of the upper and lower suspension arms 2 and 3 are connected with the upper and lower edge parts of the upper and lower knuckles 1A and 1B through ball joints 7 and 8. The upper and lower knuckles 1A and 1B joined each other in the relatively shiftable ways in the longitudinal direction by a leaf spring 14. Further, the upper suspension arm 2 is set so that the ball joint 7 as connection part for the upper knuckle 1A is shifted rearward when the upper suspension arm 2 is shifted downwardly. Therefore, the caster trail in the case when a longitudinal force acts is increased, and the straight advance stability is improved. |
