发明名称 POWDER MATERIAL FOR PLASMA ARC WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a powder material for plasma arc welding which prevents welding defects and has good operability by constituting said material of the unit grains prepd. by granulating plural kinds of raw material powders having different chemical components and subjecting the granulated powders to a sintering treatment. CONSTITUTION:At least >=2 kinds of the powders having the different chemical components such as the metal powder and metal powder of different kinds or the metal powder and ceramics powder of carbide, etc., are used as the raw materials. Such raw material powders are kneaded and granulated by using an org. binder. The granulated powders are heated to the temp. below the lowest m.p. of the constituting powders in a reducing atmosphere. The binder component is thereby evaporated and the powder grains are sintered to each other. The sintered body is then ground and classified at need to prepare the powder of adequate grain sizes. The powder material for plasma arc welding is constituted of the unit grains prepd. in such a manner. This powder material prevents the welding defects without generating slag at the time of welding and does not generate abnormality of feeding. Said material stabilizes the operability and forms the weld metal having the uniform chemical compsn.
