The lamp holder (1) includes an injection moulded plastic body, cooperating with a supporting cap (18). The body has an internal hole whose bottom (11) is provided with terminals for connecting electric wires and apertures (12) for fixing the body with screws. An annular recess (13), concentric with the body axis, is provided with a circular shoulder, which cooperates with lateral clips (22) that exist on the cap. An external circular collar (19) on the cap rests on the body when the two components are assembled. To facilitate the clips engagement an enlargement (17) is provided on the internal wall of the body, at its extremity. The cap has internal reinforcement radial ribs (25) placed next to the fixing clips. ADVANTAGE - Easy to mount and manufactured with minimum material offering high safety standards.
