The protector is a frame (11) which corresponds to the width of the ski. It has lateral pieces (12) which are bent upwards and have hooks (13) on their free ends. The plate and the hooks rest against the lower and upper surfaces (41, 42) of the ski (40). The lower part of the plate is shaped like an X, observed in cross-section when it is mounted on the ski. Before the plate is put on the ski its lateral parts are at acute angles to its lower part and the centre of its lower part is curved upwards. USE - For protecting the surface of a ski.
