The invention relates to a hospital bedside table with a top and a bed table top. The two tops have a rim projecting from the plane thereof. Rim and top are made of the same material and are formed simultaneously during production. The top has recesses in which fastening members, gripping cups and/or a pivot bearing can be mounted.
