A cylinder lock comprises a cylinder housing (10) and a cylinder core (50). It is known that, to date, the cylinder housing is made exclusively of brass. According to the invention, the cylinder housing is made of a corrosion-resistant, robust, high-strength, very hard metal or metal alloy. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the cylinder housing is of two-part construction. |
