RESIN COATING ON METAL FORMED BY INJECTION MOLDING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent the separation and faulty adhesion of resin coat near a gate hole by forming a resin holding recess in the position on the metal surface of a cocoon-like rotor, corresponding to the position of the gate of injection molding machine and then coating the surface of a rotor with resin. CONSTITUTION:A recess 7 having a depth and a diameter greater approximately two to three times than that of a gate is formed on the side face 3a of a cocoon-like rotor 3 die-casted from aluminum at the position opposing to the front face of a gate at the time of coating. It is permissible that the recess 7 overlaps at least a part of the orthogonal projection of the gate outline. The flow of resin which is forced to be disturbed in the diverse directions when the resin is supplied is restrained in said recess 7, whereby exhibiting no phenomenon of the disturbance due to flow of resin.
