The invention relates to a piston (1) for axial-piston machines, comprising a hollow body (2) with an axial cavity (4), inserted in which, so as to fill it at least in part, there is a filler piece (6) made of a material having a lower specific mass (density) than the material of the piston (1), the filler piece (6) being axially secured in the cavity (4) by a shoulder projecting radially inward from the hollow body (2). The object of the invention is to improve said piston in such a way that, with a simple design, stable axial locking of the filler piece (6) is ensured. This is achieved by the filler piece (6) having a recess (9) which is arranged between its ends on its lateral face and into which that section of the hollow body (2), which overlaps the recess (9), is pressed in a positively locking and frictionally locking manner (indentation 8). <IMAGE> |
