An electrical plug connecting part is proposed having plug contact elements which are arranged in chambers in an insulating material housing and can be locked by means of a bolt which is held in a recess in the insulating material housing, in the case of which electrical plug connecting part, in order to achieve problem-free locking and unlocking of the plug contact elements, control means are provided at the two ends of the bolt (which has a rectangular cross-section and one of whose ends is held in the insulating material housing) and the associated regions of the insulating material housing, by which control means the bolt can be moved forcibly and diagonally from an original position (which is approximately tangential to the plug contact element) to a final position (which is assigned to the shoulder-like regions of the plug contact elements), and the recess having a width which is matched to the width of the bolt and to the diagonal displacement of it.
