<p>A power-operated lift (10), adapted to be mounted in a vehicle trunk (14), has linkage means (54, 56) for raising a load-supporting platform (34) in a vertical direction. The platform (34) can be manually moved in a horizontal direction to remove the load from the trunk (14). The platform can be pivoted about the frame (36, 38) to provide access to a wheel well (18) beneath the lift (10). A reversible motor (100) is connected to the linkage for either raising or lowering the platform with respect to the trunk floor (12).</p> |
