Apparatus for tilting the mast and sail(s) of a sailing craft about a linked pivot and swivel joint (3) at the heel of the mast (5), so that the mast (1) can rotate about its long axis, and also tilt from side to side, particularly to windward, as well as backwards and forwards. A limited version of the apparatus tilts the mast from side to side, particularly to windward, about the mast heel pivot point. |
