Autoclaved lightweight aerated concretes. The invention relates to a process for the production of autoclaved lightweight concrete from siliceous material and limestone material as main raw materials, characterised in that it consists in adding 1 to 20 % by weight of at least one alkaline-earth metal carbonate in powder form (excluding the case where 3 to 20 % by weight of calcium carbonate by itself is added) and 3 to 10 % by weight of calcium sulphate, the proportions being based on the quantity of the total solids of the raw materials. Use as construction material.
