<p>PURPOSE:To confirm which developing device has no developer by selecting a developing means, and detecting there is no developer in the selected developing means and displaying that there is no developer. CONSTITUTION:When a black tone developing device is selected, and when a no toner detector 571 detects that there is no toner in a hopper 561 of the black tone developing device 241 for the black tone, a main control part outputs alternatively a data signal B, and a data signal D, which is the data signal B plus a signal to light a segment 841, as the data signals to show this condition, synchronized to the frequency of the oscillation circuit. That is, a segment 831 is lit in white, and by blinking a segment 841 at a specified frequency, no toner in the black tone developing device is displayed. Thus the fact that there is no developer in developing device 241, 242 can be confirmed.</p> |
