The invention specifies an arrangement, used for example as a workplace for the graphic trade, consisting of light table, copy holder and incident-light device, with which arrangement the light table can, via a table frame, both be adjusted in the height direction, i.e. in the vertical direction, and altered with regard to the inclination relative to the horizontal. Furthermore, when altering the inclination of the light table with respect to the horizontal the copy holder and optionally an incident-light device connected thereto are expediently carried along. Expediently, a slide viewer is integrated in the copy holder. Furthermore, the light table of the arrangement contains a screening device which is designed in the form of one or more partial shutters, and by means of which the size of the illuminated area desired in each case on the light table can be set so that the surface which is not required in each case for working on the document on the light table is covered or darkened ... the illuminating device of the light table.
