PURPOSE:To start a desired test in a short time by editing the contents of a main memory at the time point when an input/output control table is prepared for the tests of plural input/output devices in a reusable state and storing these edited contents of the main memory into the medium of an input/output device. CONSTITUTION:A test program is stored in a main memory 2 for initialization. An input/output table is produced for input/output devices 3111-31nn by the instruction of an operator. When a request is received for the storage of the test program, an IPL loader, the test program and the input/output control table are edited and sent to one of those devices 3111-31nn that is designated by the operator. Then the test of the input/output device is carried out by a test execution instruction and based on the input/output control table. Then the result of the test is reported to finish the test. When the next test is performed by a test program including the input/output control table, the new production of said control table can be omitted. |
