PURPOSE:To make a 4WS garden tractor which does not hurt the lawn with its gauge wheel, by setting the rotation center of the front and rear wheels to a position behind the center between the front and rear wheels and near the grounding wheel of the mower. CONSTITUTION:The front grounding-wheel 14 is set on the front middle of the mower 6 and the rear grounding-wheels 15 are set on both sides of the rear part. The wheeling units for the front wheels 2 and rear wheels 3 of the tractor is made so that the rotation center 16 is positioned near the rear grounding-wheel 15 on its minimum rotation. In other words, the rotation center 16 on the minimum rotation is l1 behind the center line 16 in the back-and-forth direction to the mower 6 and l2 apart from the center of the rear grounding- wheel 16 in the back-and-forth direction and l3 in the right-and-left direction. These l2 and l3 are made zero as much as possible. When the tractor is allowed to turn in its minimum radius, the rear grounding-wheel 15 on the inside is near the rotation center and slides little, resulting in not hurting lawn. |
