<p>The torque convertor of the present invention has the following construction. An impeller (10) is connected to the outer periphery of a front cover as an input unit, a turbine (15) is disposed between the front cover and the impeller, a direct coupling clutch (2) capable of being connected to the inner surface of the front cover through a frictional connecting part is disposed between the outer periphery of the turbine and the outer periphery of the front cover, an output clutch (3) is disposed between the inner periphery of the turbine and the inner periphery of the front cover and inside a working fluid filled space inside the direct coupling clutch in a radial direction, the output clutch consists of a multiple disc frictional clutch, the output section of the direct coupling clutch and that of the turbine are connected to the input section of the output clutch and the output section of the output clutch is connected to an output shaft.</p> |
