NEW MATERIAL:AK-40-I and AK-40-II each expressed by formula I and formula II. Furthermore, the novel compounds have the following physicochemical properties: AK-40-I: appearance, yellow needle crystal; molecular weight (by EI mass spectrum), 520, 2457; molecular formula, C32H32N403; melting point, 210-212 deg.C; specific rotation, [alpha]=+101 (C=0.09, methanol). AK-40-II: appearance, white yellow needle crystal; molecular weight (by EI mass spectrum), 566, 2483; molecular formula, C33H34N405; melting point, 295-298 deg.C; specific rotation, [alpha]=+114 (C=0.09, methanol), etc. USE:An insecticide. PREPARATION:AK-40 producing fungus belonging to the genus Penicillium [e.g., Penicillium simplicissimum Ak13 (FERM P-9837)] is cultured, preferably under aerobic conditions at 26-32 deg.C for 3-10 day. |
