<p>PURPOSE:To protect the data by stopping the supply of power to a display part with a fault of a power supply and delaying the time for supply of the power to a storage part. CONSTITUTION:When the drive of a 1st power supply 3 stops and a 2nd power supply 4 substitutes for the power supply 3, a voltage detecting part 5 monitors the voltage of the power supply 4. Then the part 5 sends a control signal to an output control part 6 to stop the supply of power to a display part 2 from the power supply 4 when the voltage of the power supply 4 drops less than a prescribed level due to the consumption of the power supply 4. Thus the power consumption of the power supply 4 is reduced because the supply of power is stopped to the part 2. Then the power supply time is extended to a storage part 1 and therefore the vanishment of the storage contents can be avoided.</p> |
