PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic, containing a high-molecular weight silicone, protein, protein hydrolyzate and protein derivative, capable of imparting gloss and smoothness to the hair, having excellent conditioning effects and sustaining the effects for a relatively long period. CONSTITUTION:The aimed substance obtained by mixing one or two or more of high molecular weight silicones expressed by the formula (R1 is methyl or partially phenyl; R2 is methyl or OH; n is 3000-20000) and one or two or more selected from the group of proteins, protein hydrolyzates and protein derivatives with normally used surfactants, water-soluble polyhydric alcohol, oils, etc., according to a conventional method. The amounts of the ingredients blended based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic are 0.1-50wt.% high-molecular weight silicones expressed by the formula (e.g., decamethylcyclopentasiloxane) and 0.001-10wt.% proteins, protein hydrolyzates and protein derivatives (e.g., elastin). |
