A metallurgical vessel (1), in particular a tiltable steel casting ladle, including a hinged lid (2) linked to the vessel (1) by at least one hinge joint (5), characterized in that a hinge pin (7) and a link guide (11) concentrically disposed at a distance therefrom, yet extending only over a partial region of the circumference of the hinge pin (7) are provided at the vessel (1), and a hinge hook (8) is fastened to the hinge lid (2), projecting to between the hinge pin (7) and the link guide (11) and surrounding the hinge pin (7) over its circumference by 180 degrees at the most. |
