There is disclosed aeration equipment comprising: a submersible and refloatable raft (1) provided with a floodable buoyancy means (9); and at least one venturi aerator (20) carried by the raft (1), the aerator (20) including a nozzle through which a liquid is pumped in use, an outlet barrel, and an inlet port (22) through which air can be blown into the barrel or drawn into the barrel (21) by the action of the liquid passing through the nozzle. The equipment can be moved relatively easily from one location to another in a body of water.
