INFRARED-LIGHT OPTICAL FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the projection characteristics of laser light by specifying the composition ratio of silver chloride (AgCl) and silver bromide (AgBr). CONSTITUTION:The composition ratio of silver chloride (AgCl) and silver bromide (AgBr) is so set that AgCl is 30-70wt.% and AgBr is 70-30wt.%. Those AgCl and AgBr are mixed to form mixed crystal by a Bridgeman method and then a preform 2 which is base crystal obtained by forming the mixed crystal cylindrically is applied with pressure by a ram 3 for pressure application to manufacture the infrared-light optical fiber 1. Consequently, the infrared-light optical fiber 1 is obtained which has the projection characteristics of laser light.
