PURPOSE:To improve motor characteristics and to reduce power consumption, by changing the slip frequency in the region of frequencies lower than the rated frequency. CONSTITUTION:A linear induction motor is controlled by an inverter outputting the variable voltage variable frequency power. At this moment, in the V/F region A lower than the rated frequency, no patterns of slip frequency fs is made constant, but the slip frequency fs is increased. The characteristics of the linear motor can thereby be improved. |
