PURPOSE:To thermally protect a metallic endless belt, to sufficiently secure the durability and to obtain the title coating film material having excellent workability by containing the prescribed quantity of graphite powder having the specific average particle size or less, B oxide or H3BO3 and <=5 number of carbons in alcohol and the balance incombustible solvent having lower than the specific boiling point in the coating film material. CONSTITUTION:The whole weight of the composition is made to 100wt.% and the above coating film material is constituted with 2-35wt.% graphite powder having <=50mum average particle size, 0.3-15wt.% B oxide or H3BO3, 2-35wt.% alcohol of <=5 number of carbons and the balance of the incombustible solvent having the boiling point of <100 deg.C at <=1atm. Further, in the coating film material, if necessary, organic series synthetic resin (for example, silicone resin) as the binder may be contained to <=10wt.%. Then, as the combustible alcohol, methanol or ethanol is desirable. Further, as the incombustible solvent, various kinds of hydrocarbon halides (for example, methylene chloride, etc.) are used. By using the above coating film material, the cast slab having excellent surface characteristic can be produced. |
