METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREPARING BATCH ADAPTED TO MOLDING MEMBER TO BE MANUFACTURED OF MOLDABLE FIBER-REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC PLASTIC MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To adapt a starting material to succeeding processing and the treatment of an improper intermediate product on the assumption that the adjustment of the starting material corresponding to a molded member to be produced by heating a pre-product comprising a binder consisting of fibers and a thermoplastic resin and separating a fitted batch from a strand to supply the same to next processing. CONSTITUTION: A predetermined product comprising a binder consisting of fibers and a thermoplastic resin is heated as a strand and a fitted batch is separated from the strand to be supplied to a strand re-processing process. By this constitution, a production process is simplified and an automatizing ratio high in the production of a molded member is achieved. Since a large change becomes possible in relation to the use of high quality thermoplastic resin and reinforcing fibers and the batch quantity of the molding member in a press, the apparatus by this method can be succeedingly used in the production of a large number of molded members different in batch vol.
