<p>PURPOSE:To minimize an irregularity of light value between heads with an optimum light-emitting value obtained, even when the head is replaced by installing a driver which drives a light-emitting element and a memory on the first substrate, and arranging a drive part on the second substrate. CONSTITUTION:A power supply on the substrate 4 side is connected to the anodes of LED chips 21-2n. An eight-bit counter 81 is installed on the substrate 4 which constitutes a drive part and connected to short lines S1-S5 on a substrate 1 through line DTM 1-line DTM 5. A lighting time is determined by a strobe signal which is output by the counter 81 through the line STROB. The short lines S1-S5 constitute a memory which stores data for determining the light-emitting time of an LED head. Even when the substrate 1 is replaced, a light-emitting time for the head is preset by the short lines S1-S5. Consequently, a strobe signal corresponding to a lines S1-S5. Consequently, a strobe signal corresponding to a given head by the counter 81 is output merely by connecting connectors 72, 73, 74 for the substrate 1.</p> |
