PURPOSE:To make possible prevention of a printing shift on recording paper or defects of a recording image during perfect or multiple printing by controlling timing from the issuance of a reference image timing signal until the generation of an image signal in the second and following recordings on the basis of the expansion rate of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:In the subject device, the timing of a vertical synchronous VSYNC signal and an image VDO signal from an internal interface varies according to the first face and the second face printing. The printing start timing for each top margin is Tv1>Tv2. That is, the top margin of the second face is narrower than that of the first face. This helps reduce the effect of contraction of recording paper due to thermal fixing after printing of the first face. |
