The invention relates to an advertising and information system of the type comprising a stand holding an advertising support with one or more revolving or pivoting powered non-coplanar faces for business premises and various kinds of buildings, characterised in that this system is fixed to a structure or other support by at least one movably mounted arm, for example sliding on a rail on the stand (1) which carries on its opposite face at least two arms at least one of which is movable, for example by sliding, and at the ends of which is/are placed the advertising support(s) (2) mounted on one end (10) of a shaft (4) directly held by the shaft of a drive motor (3) positioned on one of the parts of said arm with a friction coupling means (15) and on another end (9) of said shaft, at its remote end, supported by a point contact means, such as a ball (13) positioned in a receptacle (14) in the corresponding arm. <IMAGE>
