<p>PURPOSE:To make a rear wheel steerable by actuating an electric actuator according to a car speed, and following this, operating a rear power steering via a control beam and a control cable. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 26 makes an operation by its program according to the signal from the car speed sensor 72 of the unit 26, and controls the current flowing the stator winding of a stepping motor 21. The rotation of the motor 21 is transferred to a phase switching rack 20 via reduction gear mechanisms 65, 66, and 67, and the rack moves within a phase switching beam. The action of the rack is transferred to a control beam 13 via links 22 and 23, the beam 13 swingingly moves around a pin 43, and makes a rear power steering 12 to operate via control cables 14 and 15.</p> |
