PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive material whose critical current density is high and limitation imposed on into application range is little, by a method wherein powder is molded during impression of a magnetic field or an electric field after dispersed into a liquid crystal, and then sintered after the liquid crystal is removed. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of a superconductive material is obtained by making use of Y(NO3)3.6H2O or Ba(CH3COO)2 or Cu(CH3COO).H2O as raw materials and mixing and dispersion are performed by adding MBBA of a Schiff base liquid crystal to this fine powder of the superconductive material. An obtained mixture is put into a mold which is incorporated into a magnetic field compression molding machine and constitutes a magnetic field, to which the magnetic field is applied. After orientation of the fine powder of the superconductive material, along with decompression of the inside of the mold the same is compressed and the liquid crystal is removed. After an obtained compression molded material has been degassed within an atmosphere for an hour, for example, of a level of a degree of a vacuum of 10<-4>Torr at 450 deg.C, the same is sintered for 5 hours within an oxygen atmosphere of 950 deg.C and a superconductive material is obtained. |
