PURPOSE:To prevent dust and the like from being invaded in wind holes of a motor casing and obtain a cover without deformation at the time of assembly operation without increasing the assembly operation and the number of parts by integrating a conventional bearing stiffening plate and a cover without invasion of dust from the wind holes of the motor casing and providing a rib for forming a ventilation flue on the cover. CONSTITUTION:An air blower composed of an electric motor 15 and an impeller 14 is prepared in the inner part of the body 6 of a duct ventilating fan inserted and placed in a crate 13 provided in an opening of a ceiling surface 12, a louver is provided on a suction opening of a lower surface opening and an adapter 10 for connecting a duct 9 on a discharge opening of a side surface 1. One hand of a motor casing 1 is exposed on the outside of the body 6 and wind holes 3 are provided on the end face of the ceiling side. In order that dust and the like are not invaded on the wind holes 3, a cover 2 which is conventionally used as a bearing stiffening plate to stop up the opening of a shaft housing part 5 in the center of the motor casing 1 forms a ventilation flue 8 by a fib 16 between the cover 2 and the motor casing 1 and is attached to the side face of the ceiling side of the motor casing. Further, the rib 16 is projected on the side of the motor casing 1 for reinforcement so that the cover 2 is not deformed by the load at the time when an iron core 7 is fitted in the motor casing 1 by pressing. |
