PURPOSE:To make an optical transmitter into compactness by providing a current amplifier to output a current proportional to a signal current outputted from the anode of a light receiving element, and enabling the anode of a light emitting element and the cathode of the light receiving element to be grounded. CONSTITUTION:A circuit is constituted in such a way that the current amplifier 11 is attached on an on-going optical transmitter. Thereby, the cathode of the light receiving element 7 is grounded, and the signal current is outputted from the anode of the element 7 and is inputted to the amplifier 11. At this time, output amplified by constant magnification is inputted to a current error amplifier 8. By constituting a device in such way, the optical output of the light emitting element 3 can be controlled automatically easily even when the anode of the element 3 and the cathode of the light receiving element 7 are grounded, and also, the whole of the device can be constituted in a compact form. |
