PURPOSE:To age an electrolytic capacitor optimally by interrupting a DC output by pulses, frequency and a duty ratio of which are adjusted in response to the electrolytic capacitor, and applying the DC output to the electrolytic capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A voltage controlled oscillator 2 and a duty control circuit 4 are installed as pulse generating means generating pulses Vi having arbitrary frequency and duty ratio. Output pulses Vi from the control circuit 4 are applied to a switching circuit 16 as a control input through a photo-coupler 14 mounted for ensuring electrical insulation. The circuit 16 interrupts the DC voltage VDC of a DC power 18 by pulses Vi, and pulse voltage VP acquired is applied to an electrolytic capacitor 20 as a voltage control means while being applied to all electrolytic capacitor 26 to be aged from connecting terminals 24a, 24b through a current inhibiting element 22. Accordingly, the electrolytic capacitor can be aged by a pulse output optimum for aging the electrolytic capacitor. |
