PURPOSE:To prevent waste of synchronizing operation of a terminal equipment by setting a count of a timer to a predetermined correction value in place of resetting an internal timer when the terminal equipment receives synchronizing correction signal while the internal timer elapses a prescribed count start point of time and counts a predetermined permissible value. CONSTITUTION:The synchronizing correction signal is sent from an electronic exchange 1 for minute and a telephone set control section 3 receives the synchronizing correction signal, then the synchronization correction is applied. In such a case, when the telephone set control section 3 receives the synchronizing correction signal till 0.04sec elapses from the count start point of time of the internal timer, the internal timer is not reset and the count-down from correction value 2.99 is started. Thus, it is rare to repeat the synchronizing operation twice in a short time at the count-down start point of time. Moreover, the synchronizing correction signal sent from the electronic exchange 1 is set to other terminal equipment. Thus, the electronic exchange 1, the telephone set control section 3 and other terminal equipment count mutually the identical time and the synchronizing operation of the electronic exchange system is maintained. |
