PURPOSE:To prevent fouling caused by soot and also burning caused by sparks in a hall by providing a combustion improver injecting mechanism to an inlet side exhaust gas pipe of an exhaust gas boiler leading to a funnel while fitting an extensible type exhaust gas outer cylinder around an outlet side exhaust gas pipe of the exhaust gas boiler. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas 04 from a Diesel main engine of vessel flows into an exhaust gas boiler 05 through an inlet side exhaust gas pipe 04a to heat a heating tube 06, and then is discharged into the air from the upper end of an outlet side exhaust gas pipe 08 projecting upward little from the top surface of a funnel 07. In this case, there is provided an combustion improver injecting mechanism 1 utilizing an ejector having an injecting port inserted in the inlet side exhaust gas pipe 04a of the exhaust gas boiler 05 in order to activate for burning things 012 sticked to the heating tube 06 up to be excessively enlarged. An extensible type exhaust gas pipe outer cylinder 2 is fitted around the outlet side exhaust gas pipe 08, and is extended upward by an extending mechanism 3 in association with the operation of the combustion improver injecting mechanism 1.
