METHOD FOR LINING AND REPAIRING INSIDE SURFACE OF PIPE

PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of a resin into a branch pipe and to line the inside surface of a pipe to a uniform film thickness by opening the above-the- ground end of the branch pipe and closing this end when the air flow in the piping arrives at the open end of the branch pipe by blowing through the resin infiltering the inside of the branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amt. of the lining resin A is injected in the form of liquid into a launcher 2 connected to the aperture on the beginning end side of the existing piping 1. The resin is injected further from the inside of the launcher 2 into the pipeline on the beginning end side of the existing piping 1 and is so packed in the pipeline that the resin is filled to clog the inside of the pipeline over a prescribed length. The compressed air from a compressor 12 is then fed from the end of the launcher 2 info the pipe. The compressed air acts to press the lump of the lining resin A from the rear end face thereof, thus imparting flowability to the lining resin A. The lining coated film (a) having a required coating thickness is thereby formed. The coated film having a uniform thickness is thereby obtd.
